Emirates Launches Inaugural Flight To Geneva

Emirate's inaugural Dubai to Geneva flight took off on 01st June from Dubai International Airport. Geneva is the airline's second gateway to Switzerland after Zurich. Dubai to Zurich was launched in 1992 and is currently offered twice per day from the airline.  

Emirates' Terminal 3 became the center of activity as the launch followed a performance with a traditional Swiss dancing couple.

The flight EK 089 will depart Dubai airport daily at 0855hrs and will arrive in Geneva at 1345hrs. By Geneva, EK 090 will fly at 1515hrs and it will arrive in Dubai at 2330hrs. A blend of Boeing 777-200LR and Boeing 777-300ERs will function the Dubai-Geneva service.  

Three-class configuration will be organized in the aircraft, to be able to cater to all sorts of passengers – from the fans of luxury to the individuals who would rather opt for relatively inexpensive flight tickets.  

There'll be personal suites and lie-flat chairs to relaxation travelers with tickets for first class and business class respectively. Travelers with cheap tickets on the flights' economy class will also have the ability to enjoy spacious and comfy seating.  

Every 777 aircraft of the airline that's scheduled to serve the Geneva route will have 15-20 tonnes of freight capacity. This is sufficient space for lots of luxury watches, high-end fashion products, relief shipments, pharmaceutical products, and electronics.
